Nokia intros another affordable E-series business phone, the Nokia E5, for Rs. 12,699

Featuring a 5MP fixed focus camera with flash, 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity (as well as DLNA and UPnP support), and a full QWERTY keyboard with dedicated messaging and email keys, the Nokia E5 runs on a sprightly ARM 11 600MHz processor with 256MB of RAM. Though the 2.36-inch screen is not big enough for super-comfortable web-browsing, it is more than sufficient, and useful for watching videos as well, with a QVGA resolution. The E5 also comes with an inbuilt GPS receiver, coupled with Ovi Maps 3.0 and free life-time voice guided navigation. Apart from Microsoft Office Messenger support, perhaps the best thing about the phone is its ability to read/edit Microsoft Office documents, view PDF files, and support ZIP files.
The Nokia phone also features a quick Business and Personal homescreen toggle that will allow users to easily organise their content and shortcuts. Perhaps the biggest disadvantage of the phone is the lack of a hot-swappable microSD card slot. The phone comes bundled with a 2GB microSD card.
